Domains

Domains are a new technology implemented in Elastos. Domains help improve security and also reliability and performance. Each program is part of a domain, and programs from the same developer are part of one domain. These domains represent virtual spaces separating trusted content from untrusted content. Those applications belonging to the same domain will be able to freely access each other’s components while those applications in other domains will be restricted in the functions that they can access. This helps to insure that malicious programs will not be able to piggy back off of legitimate applications and enable us to easily quarantine applications deemed unsavory.
